Congratulations to our First Holy Comunicants! Everyone is invited to the celebration after the 9.15am mass today.

This week is Refugee Week. Refugee services are looking for donations of toiletries. Please leave them in the box at the back of the church. Thank you.

Next Sunday there will be a Cake stall to raise money to help send some of our young students to this year’s Australian Catholic Student’s Conference July 7-9 in Brisbane. Peter’s Pence special collection will be taken up on the following Sunday 2nd July.

This Friday the Feast of the Sacred Heart. The evening mass will be a sung Mass and the Boys’ Youth Group follows mass.

The next Women’s Group meeting is this Saturday 24th June from 10am-1pm.

The FSSP priests and seminarians in North America recently released a CD of Gregorian chant. The promo video is on YouTube (Requiem – The Fraternity) and the CD is available on Amazon and iTunes. The CD has been the best-selling sacred music CD in the US for the last fortnight. Take a look!

The Daughters of the Maternal Heart of Mary will be having a vocation discernment weekend on 14-16 July. Please take a flyer for details.

If you are interested in joining our monthly Mother's Rosary Group please speak to Rebecca Scriven after Mass or contact her on 0448 031 483. Each first Friday of the month a Rosary is held at 10.00am in a different mother’s home. The mission of this group is to pray for the vocation of motherhood, families and the church.

In 2018, Pope Francis will hold a Synod of Bishops on the themes of youth, faith and vocations. In order to prepare for this, our Bishops have asked all dioceses in Australia to encourage their young people to share their voices by completing a survey. Please see the posters for details and let our Bishops know what you think by completing the survey.

We are accumulating a number of items of lost clothing. Please check the box in the kitchen in the meeting room to see if any belong to your or your child. Thank you.

Please remember the sick in your prayers, especially Miki Caputo, David Green, Hughie Keeris, Tommy Gasparovic, Adrian Hookway, Roger Harrington and Vincenza Martucci (Ines Barson’s mother). Please remember also the recently deceased especially Elizabeth (Lily) Middeldorp and Jeffrey Ager, and also those whose anniversaries occur about this time.

Just a reminder that all children need to be accompanied to and from the toilet, ideally by an adult family member. Please be careful of small children when exiting the car park after mass and a reminder to all parents to watch their children after mass. It would be appreciated if you could park at the back of the car park near the creek first and avoid parking in front of Ellengowan Hall. There is more car parking available in St Peter’s Street (across Payneham Rd), and also across the creek (off Nelson St). Thank you for your understanding.
